They are called cells
Most living things are built from cells, and that means both animals and plants. In fact the word "cellulose" comes from the name of the substance found in the cell walls of plants.
They are called organisms, also biotic creatures.
Two things found in a plant cell that are not found in an animal cell include the chloroplast and the large vacuole. A smaller vacuole is found in animal cells but only plant cells have a cell wall.
Made of cells: Trees are made of cells, which are the building blocks of all living organisms. Not made of cells: Rocks are not made of cells; they are composed of minerals and do not have the same biological structures as living organisms.
