For an animal to be counted as a carnivore, it has to eat mostly, or only meat.
I'm not sure but they eat meat ( animal meat) because they hunt.
Carnivores eat meat. They eat flesh and other types of meat. Some eat a living animal and some eat a dead animal.
Bears, Racoons and Skunks eat both plants and meat
