If you mean in the broudway musical, her real name was supposed to be Elphaba. If you haven't seen Wicked the musical, I HIGHLY suggest you do!
In Gregory Maguire's adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked (both the novel and the musical), the witch's father is thought to be the governor of Munchkinland, Frexspar. It isn't until after the witch's death that her true father is revealed to be the Wizard of Oz himself, much to his Horror.

June 9, 1954] gives the Wicked Witch of the West the name of Elphaba Thropp and the Wicked Witch of the East the name of Nessarose Thropp.

Dorothy throws water on the wicked witch of the west. However, they never use Dorothy's name in the musical (I assume for copyright reasons). They just say "a small child" threw water on the wicked witch.
