ADRENAL GLAND;it is anatomically divided into 2 parts.adrenal medulla and adrenal cortex.

again adrenal cortex contains following layers.zonaglomerulosa, zonafasiculata, and zona reticularis.

zonaglomerulosa secretes mineralocorticoids.zonafasiculata secretes glucocorticoids.zonareticularis secretes androgen and estrogen .

the principle mineralocorticoids is aldosteron while principle glucocorticoid is cortisol.while androgen are nothing but the testosterone and estrogen nothing the estrogen and progesterone.
