tribute to the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I, when they fought for the British Army
We do not have the specific names of the Native American who fought in World War 2 in our database. You can get their names from the World War 2 museum. I have provided a link for you so you can contact them. Thanks.
I'm trying to find it too because my grandad was one of them.

Though, there's a varying estimate of Indian soldiers killed during World War 2, but official estimate is 36000 soldiers, mostly killed in Europe, Northern Africa against German Forces and in Burma against Japanese Army.
Russia was one of the few countries that participated in both World War I and World War II. During World War I the Russian army was known as the Cossacks.
They were nick-named 'Tommies'.
There are far too many names of wounded fighting men in WW2 to list.
