juinor miss and miss teen USA.
Yes! Absolutely. A good pageant to enter for younger girls is Dream Girls USA. Most pageants do have a online entry form so most pageants in the USA will have a online entry form. If you have any other questions on pageants feel free to ask me!
Little Miss America was the first known "child" beauty pageant. However, some of the older "Glitzy" pageants are Cover Miss and Sunburst. These are more recognized names in the world of child pageants
My personal 2 favorite pageants are:National American MissAmerican CoedBoth of these pageants have state pageants!
Beauty Pageants started in the 1920's . Child beauty pageants started in the 1960's
Beauty Pageants are popular in the Western World. Countries such as the US, UK, Canada, France, etc. host beauty pageants.
I looked this up and found out they are an off shoot of the adult pageants. Adult pageants started in 1921 in Atlantic City and the child pageants began in the 1960's. I also found out that the children are not covered by child labor laws as far as "working" even though they win money and the parents have them practice for hours. The child pageants are also expensive when the cost of travel, dresses, training, classes in dance and song, entrance fees for each pageant, and other costs associated with the pageants. It seems as well that the prizes are rather small when the costs are considered and factored in.
Depends what kind of pageants you are talking about : glitz - or - natural .
There has been about 85 Miss America pageants.
Pair the paegent with a football game, and call it "TD's and Beer". Think about it......
It depends on which pageant you are attending. You usually are allowed to be on stage for 90 seconds, but for other pageants you might be able to do your routine on stage to possibly 2 minutes or more.
