After listening to Naruto, Nagato decides to use his remaining power to restore all the lives of the shinobi who died in Konoha during the battle. Naruto leaves and sets up a small shrine for Jiraya before heading back to the village. When he arrives, everyone is there to greet him and express their thanks. The episode ends with all of Naruto's friends begin throwing him in the air in celebration.
