He was also the leader of Fatah, which was the largest of these organizations. (Others included: PFLP [the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine], DFLP [the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine], PPP [the Palestinian People's Party], etc.) In 1993, because of the Oslo Accords, the PLO made peace with Israel and was given the power to govern certain areas of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. In this capacity, the PLO was renamed the Palestinian Authority or PA, of which Yasser Arafat became the leader as well.

I'm guessing this question is refering to the Yugoslav breakup era. The answer is no; Macedonia separated peacefully from Yugoslavia in 1991. However, there was a small conflict in 2001 initiated by Albanians terrorists, known as the National Liberation Army who are related to fellow terrorist group, Kosovo Liberation Army. It occured in Albanian majority areas in northwest Macedonia. It was settled in the same year with the Ohrid Agreement, in which minorities were given greater rights, and the NLA terrorist group was forced to give up their arms.
