its an old fashoned shot gun with very unique design
You should really take an NRA safety course
It means that each time you pull the trigger, a shot is fired. The other models are: spring/pump action, which need to be recocked after each shot, and automatic which will fire as long as the trigger is pulled.
No such model. Winchester did not make a 'Model 1901 single shot .22 pump-action rifle.' They made a Model 1900, Model 1902 and Model 1904, which were all single-shot bolt-action rifles, and they made the Model 1890 and Model 1906 which were slide-action rifles but had tubular magazines. How exactly is your rifle marked? sales@countrygunsmith.net

Single shot, bolt action, pump, semi-auto,
There are many different types. There are pistols, rifles and shot guns. Pistols can be semi auto or single shot or a revolver. Rifles can be semi auto or full auto or bolt action or single shot or lever action. Shotguns can be semi auto or pump or single or double shot.
Remington didn't make a pump shotgun until 1908 and that's a model 10.
