You should always have your starter, and hopefully the other types of starters too. Phsycic is powerful, and dragons are really good. Lastly, rock/ground/fighting are tough. All in all, I'd say you should have a water type, a grass type, a fire type, a dragon type, a phsycic type, and rock, ground or fighting type. If I were you, I'd have a Venosaur, a Poliwrath, a Moltres, a Mewtwo, a Dragonite, and a Golem.
