Just like that, be careful with it. Might be a bit slow but you just need to give it a little bump and it opens.
To unlock a Travel Sentry lock, you need to use the unique combination code or key that came with the lock. Input the correct code or use the key to open the lock. If you have forgotten the code or lost the key, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a locksmith for assistance.
Travel Sentry is not a brand that makes locks- it is a luggage security system recognized by TSA. It is a sign that the lock is approved by this agency. But, to answer the question, most 3-dial combo locks are set the same way....you need to open the lock with the current combination, turn the shackle either 90 or 180 degrees and push it down, then set your new combination while holding it down. Hopethishelps!

To change the code on a padlock, first open the lock using the current code. Then, locate the reset button or dial on the lock. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to input a new code by turning the dial or pressing buttons. Once the new code is set, test the lock to ensure it is working properly.
Dial 0000
It varies form lock to lock. Some you twist a dial, some you punch in the numbers.

Funny thing. I actually had the same Samsonite Sentry lock for years stuck in the unlocked position because i DID forget the code too. Just recently figured out how to unlock the sucker. Here's what you do. This works for whether it's stuck in the open or locked position but you forgot the code. 1) Make sure the lever is in the "closed" position. Even if it's not closed, line it up with the opening 2) Push down on the lever and keep it held down throughout the rest of the directions 3) Starting from the bottom dial, slowly turn it through each number. Each normal number should have the same resistance as you're turning it UNTIL you get to the right number. When you get the right number suddenly you should feel it easily pop into place like it wants to be there. 4) Repeat with the next dial up and then the last dial at the top. 5) When you feel the last dial just "pop" into place like the other two, the lever should suddenly be free to recess into the lock OR be unlocked and able to twist around freely. 6) now remember this combo or to reset the lock to a code you can remember. Honestly, it seems way too easy to unlock this thing and your luggage suddenly doesn't feel THAT safe anymore does it?

Setting Your Samsonite or American Tourister 3-dial Combination Lock: 1. Remove the red packing arrow on the lock if your case has one. 2. The case is set to 0-0-0 at the factory. Oh, dude, opening a CB12 sentry lock box without the key? That's like asking how to bake a cake without flour. You could try calling a locksmith, or maybe just use a sledgehammer if you're feeling particularly destructive. But hey, I'm not here to judge your life choices.
