Why are scientist using a placebo?

Scientists use a placebo to check that the variable they are changing actually is responsible for the results they see. It is like a control experiment, allowing you to compare the trial with it to see if there is any effect. It also counteracts the "placebo effect". For example, this is when someone taking a drug calims they "feel better" despite the drug not actually having any effect. Therefore, by giving some test subjects a placebo and some the drug being tested and not telling them which is which, you can eliminate the placebo effect from the test.

Who was the founder of Coach leather wear?

It was founded by Bonnie Cashin. This is not true, it was founded in 1941 by 2 immegrants in New York, in a loft. Not in 1962 as the article that calims "bonnie cashin" was the founder refers too. It originally was a company of only 6 leatherworkers. One of the 2 founders was a survior of Dachau concentration camp in Poland.

What are the cost of obama's tax plan and who will it benefit?

The cost of Obama's tax plan would depend on specific details, and it is not feasible to provide an exact figure without knowing the specifics. Generally, Obama's tax plan aimed to increase taxes on high-income individuals and corporations while providing tax relief for middle and low-income households. The plan was intended to benefit middle-class families and promote more equitable wealth distribution.

I bought a used Toyota Highlander from a dealer and the minute I drove it off the lot the VSC land check engine light came on. Do I have any options if they do not take it back?

It totally depends on the wording of the sales contract. If anywhere on the vehicle window sticker or on the contract it states "As-Is" then you've bought the vehicle and the problems. Most reputable dealers offer some kind of limited warranty with the vehicle, and will repair the problem(s), but you will have to check your sales papers and/or talk to the dealer. Your only other option would be to take them to small calims court.

Is it cheating if your girlfrined keeps making contact with her x who she calims she only cares for but from he's side loves her and hs told her but she keeps sms him?

Cheating can take many forms. There is a reason she still keeps contact with him. Is her keeping in contact with him considered cheating? That is up to you. Does she still have feelings? That is a question you need to ask her. It is very likely that she does still have feelings for him beyond a friend which is why she is still in contact with him.At this point you may need to have a sit down conversation with her and let her know how you feel about her keeping in contact with her ex. Do not confront her in a negative way as she will go on the defensive if you do.The goal is to let her know how you feel about her contact with her ex. Not accuse her of cheating.

What action should a company take for an employee not returning a check?

You should write a letter and send it certified mail to have proof the letter was received requesting the check be returned with a clear explantion of why you need the check back. The employee probably already knows why but it needs to be in there anyway. Put an on or before date that you need the check back. If the employee doesn't comply you can take them to small calims court to try and get your money back. For that reason make sure your letter is as clear and cordial. If you blow up in the letter a small claims court will probably take the employees side. Alas, you may never recover the check. It can be more trouble than it is worth. That is the reason most companies don't issue the first paycheck until the end of the second week of employment (or if you pay every two weeks, the third week). It allows you to recover damages and settle the account without the heat of battle upon termination.
