what is the fuel/oil mixture for a stil chainsaw model 1629
50 to 1 on new ones. The old chain saws could have a ratio as much as 16 to 1.
24:1
Would need to know model no. to be sure but normally you fish the fuel filter from the tank and pull the fuel line out. Now thread twine through the hole and out the fuel cap hole. Cut the new line to a one inch taper, now tie the twine about the middle of the taper add a little motor oil at the tie point and pull through the hole. Replace the fuel filter and you are ready to go.
Fuel mixture is 16:1
I recomend 40:1 with good quality oil. http://store.chainsawr.com/
To effectively use a chainsaw for cutting wood, you will need the following tools: a chainsaw with a sharp chain, safety gear such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection, a fuel mixture for the chainsaw, a bar and chain oil for lubrication, a file for sharpening the chain, and a wrench for maintenance.
Spray some ether in the carb. If it fires, it has spark, but not getting fuel. start there.
