The location of the fuse box/panel varies from make to make, model to model, and even different year of manufacture for the same make and model.
Therefore this answer will be generic in nature and applies to most vehicles. The following list of fuse box locations is generally in order of most often to least often:
- Below and beneath the dashboard [instrument panel] just above and to the left of the driver's feet.
- In the engine compartment on the left inner fender.
- In the engine compartment on the right inner fender.
- On very old vehicles it may be inside the glove compartment/glovebox.
