Oil leaks can be hard to find. Wash the engine good. Keep the oil filled, and look daily for signs of oil, even underneath the engine to see where the leak is.
Yes I can
The cam sensor seal can cause a leak if not installed correctly.
Neon's are bad for the rear main seal leaking to fix it bring it in
Could be any number of places. We need more info like what type of leak such as a coolant leak, engine oil leak, exhaust leak, transmission oil leak, brake fluid leak, vacuum leak, rain water leak getting into cabin, etc.
you might have a leak somewere or need new spark plugggs
Needs Clarification! That depends where the leak is. Can you tell where it was comming from? close to the oil blockI would recommend using BARSLEAKS liquid Aluminum it plugged up mine I have a 1998 ply. Neon
my neon does this very same thing, very same location, my mechanic says if your oil sending unit took a hit maybe from a piece of ice kickup or rock this leak will happen in this location...otherwise it could be a front main seal....spendy labor costs.
Buy a new transmission oil pan gasket before your transmission blows from leaking liquid.
Pull top timing belt cover and check cam gear(s).
What oil viscosity is correct for dodge neon 1995
Well the sensor itself dose not leak there is a thin round gasket that is made into the sensor it keeps the seal between sensor and camshaft they are a common place for oil leaks. I just replaced the one on my 97 neon they are they are thin and black it was hard to see but it on there I used a knife to get the old one out. Cheap part and easy to fix 5-10$ at a dealership.
can a knock sensor leak oil for 305
