They would have to be ignorant of the Scriptural fact that Cain is identified in the Bible as the first murderer and someone very much disliked by God, or they are well aware of what Cain was, and like the fact that he was a murderer. Naming a child for someone evil must either be an oversight based on ignorance, or another act of evil honoring the original perpetrator of the evil act or life course of evil. The same goes for Judas. Agnostics or atheists trying to perpetuate their agenda would purposely choose such names as an act of disdain for the Scriptures. In reality though Christendom deserves disdain so atheists are actually correct in that assessment. There is a vast difference between true Christianity and the apostate empire of christendom....no true Christian would name their child Cain, Judas, Jezebel or Hitler for that matter.

Yes. Genesis 4:1 says,"And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD." There is no record in the Bible of Eve ever having any other husband nor having sexual relations with anyone other than Adam. The whole question here is the word "lord" ? Genesis 1 - 2:3 speaks of GOD as only GOD . Not until Genesis 2:4 does it begin with lord god and I have not found anything in the bibles stating GOD ever required this name or refered to himself as lord ? Nor can I find where GOD claimed to be Muslim , Hebrew or catholic so would appreciate if someone can direct me to this info .
