What are some new features in Pokemon Platinum?

The trainers have new outfits, Giratina is mixed in with Dialga and Palkia in the Cyrus scene, new forms for Regigigas, Shaymin, and Giratina, and a Sinnoh version of the Battle Frontier.

also the torn world,battle frontier which include:battle stage,battle tower,battle factory,battle catsle,battle roulette,and battle shops,a few of the gyms have changed like gardina's gym, top trainer cafe, elite four enhancements(new room designs),trophy garden where you can battle the maids and backlots and u also have new forms of rotom.you can find more info on these topics at serebii.net.you click on platinum at the left of screen then find the topic you want to at the right of screen when it loads . I highly recommend serebii.net because they give you info on the new game and update you everyday telling you where they're at now!(it's really suppossed to be backlot's daughter but I messed up and tried to fix it but it messed my wording all up!)

Gracidea flower which is obtainable if you have shaymin in the 1st box in your party & if you talk to the girl blonde in foaroma town which is not in Pokemon P/D

Actually,it's just the same as Pokemon Diamond and Pearl,but Pokemon Platinum had a lot of new features more than the other Pokemon game. And one of them is about the Pokemon. The new one is the new form of shaymin (sky form), giratina (origin form),and rotom (there's a lot! Check them in www.serebii.net). Also,the Pokedex you need to fulfilled first before you get a national pokedex at Pokemon Platinum was a lot!!!!!I forget how many Pokemon should you see.

In Pokemon Platinum, the Pokemon sprites have been upgraded. Also, after you beat the elite four, you can go to the Battle Frontier. There you can exchange points you have earned in battles for prizes. Also, Rotom, Shaymin, and Giratina have alternate formes. You can go to the Alternate Dimension in Platinum. You can also catch both Palkia and Dialga after catching Giratina. If you get an event Regigigas, you can catch Registeel, Regirock, and Regice in Platinum. After you have all three of those, you can go to the Snowpoint Temple and catch another Regigigas.
