Noah was very tall (apparently pre-flood humans grew taller than we now do) He was right around 11 foot 6 inches in height. Amateur archaeologist Ron Wyatt and his team found Noah's grave in the Agri region of Turkey (South of Mt. Ararat) and were the first to open the tomb with the Turkish government's approval and supervision. They knew it was Noah's tomb because of the local's ancient traditional information and stories as well as from the location name. The town is called the Village of Eight. In addition to this, the Turkish government officially recognized and protected this location as the tomb of the ancient family that disembarked the ark. Furthermore, the outer wall or cliff face of the tomb was painted with depictions of the eight figures of the Biblical family. Inside the tomb were discovered two very large sarcophagi that were open topped; they had no lid. Inside each sarcophagus was an 11 and a Half foot skeleton. One was male and one was female. The tomb had indeed laid untouched until the day it was open (This archaeological exploration was done in the 1980s) as each burial box was full of, all round the skeletons, a vast array of precious jewels and gems of all sorts. Ron Wyatt was allowed to take measurements and make notes and also allowed to remove and take with him, one of Noah's thumb bones. Unfortunately the Turkish government failed to keep the location secure. When Mr. Wyatt returned some months later to take pictures and more specimens he found the tomb completely looted.
