No, but if you jailbreak your iPhone/iPod Touch, you should be able to. And, I think SEGA has games on the iPod/iPad/iPhone whereas Nintendo has none on iTunes.
it is not possible to jailbreak your ipos touch 1g/2g or iphone without the use of a combuter because firmwares and the software required to jailbreak are not available to download of it and if you try to do it on the safari it will come up with a message saying you can't
It probably won't, but if you jailbreak your iPod touch and then update the operating system (giving you new features that Apple is offering), your data will be wiped from your iPod and it won't work anymore, which is a major disadvantage because if you want to do new, cool stuff on your iPod, jailbreaking will stop you from getting a lot of it. That's why I DON'T recommend jailbreaking.
this question is a great mystery
Anything of the universe is always possible I suppose, but from my great deal of experience in the world of jailbreaking the likelihood of that happening is slim to none, reason being is because should anything go wrong in most every scenario one can always boot the iDevice in DBU recovery mode which iTunes will soon recognize and offer for a restore to the most current firmware or a specified one contained on the hard drive free (both restores free of charge). So in reality if no longer have your warranty or you do not mind forfeiting it you should go for it. You have very little to lose and all of Cydia** (TM) to gain.
Whatever firmware you are will update to the latest one. None in between.
