You open up your laptop. You then open the web camera option on your desktop. It should be a shortcut on the desktop. You can then set your camera settings. And then use your camera.
I wish I knew I have the same problem too.
Ensure you are networked first, use the windows network wizard to help with this. Then open the media player on the laptop and turn on the desktop computer. When the program loads go to the open file icon or pull down file then open. At the box go to the pull down arrow and select "my network places " and select the location, that is on the desktop, where the file you want to open is located. Double click it and your laptop will begin to play it.
There is probably an app, but I send a text message of the photos to my email & open it up on my laptop and then save it from there.
Click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop. That will open a window that shows what storage devices are available on your computer.
Left click your desktop background it will say graphic options or properties click that and click on desktop background then it will show you pictures of what image you can have for your background desktop. To have it fill the whole desktop there will be options center, tile, stretch or left right. Click on center and it will fill your whole desktop screen.
Restart your laptop 3 times.
In Windows 10, click Task View, which is next to the search field on the taskbar. Then click +New Desktop on the bottom right side. You should now see two icons. One for Desktop 1 and one for Desktop 2. Click on Desktop 2. In Desktop 2 open your program that must remain open. The software should now open normally. Now click on the Task View icon again and select Desktop 1. You will now see a desktop where you can open your other programs. When you need to get back to your original program, click the Task View icon again and select Desktop 2. You will see the program that has to stay open. Disclaimer, the program you are using will need to support multiple desktops.
Unfortunately, you can't. A tech savvy person may be able to open the computer and install a replacement switch, but would not recommend unless you know what you're doing. Take your computer to a professional. It should be a cheap fix on a desktop, but on a laptop it may be expensive or not able to be replaced.
