Nursing intervention would first start with hydrating a person with oral treatments before medication. Some severe cases of dehydration require nursing intervention with medications intravenous. One medication used in treatment is Osmolality.
0.45% or 0.9% saline solution. it's 0.45% you don't want to give more sodium, hyper=too much natremia=sodium
lots of clear liquid, rest, make sure that your unrinating as usual. if not that could lead to severe dehydration and may need to get iv fluids to get your levels up quicker.
