This includes aspirin and the like. * Antacids should be taken one hour before or one hour after ranitidine, as they inhibit the effectiveness. * Avoid stomach and GI irritants -- this includes smoking and ETOH * Watch for signs of GI bleeds. The number of drug interactions with ranitidine is extensive, and beyond the scope of this response.
