This is not a question, be more specific, what do you want to know about the location of the 2006 Honda elemnet obd2 port?
On the U.S. 2004 Civic EX, if you put your foot on the gas pedal, it is above and to the right of your ankle. It looks like it is attached to the center console on my Civic EX.
It should be OBD2. I think 96-00 civics are all OBD2
underneath the dash, above the accelerator
no, obd1 and obd2 difference
LOCATION OF OBD2 PORT?
For an OBD2-b (1999+) civic, the TCU is built inside the ECU.
Yes it will or a OBD2 reader
The OBD2 connector is located underneath the ash tray.
can anyone tell me where to find the OBD2 plug in on a 1999 cougar?
No, the wiring for a 1998 Honda Civic OBD2 non-VTEC distributor is not the same as that of the OBD2 VTEC distributor. The VTEC distributor includes additional wiring for the VTEC solenoid and sensors that are not present in the non-VTEC model. Therefore, the connectors and wiring configurations differ between the two, making them incompatible without modifications.
I would visit the automotive car repair wiki, which has a database of OBD2 locations for all vehicles. In your case its hidden in the driver side on its left side. See chart and picture. http://www.fixexpert.com/wiki/odb2.php?page=odb2&id=19732 http://www.fixexpert.com/obd2/data/honda/civic/1999.jpg If you wish to look up others OBDII port locations for other vehicles try the main link at: http://www.fixexpert.com/wiki/OBD-2+Location Good Luck.
