he made his crew put wax earplugs in their ears. he himself wanted to hear the sirens beautiful music, so he asked his crew to tie him to the mast, the foundation of a sail. Odysseus's crew ties Odysseus very tightly to the mast, and disarmed him. When the were going past the sirens, Odysseus was screaming and yelling at his crew to let him go to the sirens. The crew obviously did not hear him because they had the wax ear plugs. That is how Odysseus saved his crew from the sirens.
Helios became angry at Odysseus' men because they ate his cattle. It was because of that slip-up that Helios had Zeus obliterate Odysseus' crew.

By keeping the Cyclops alive, Odysseus is able to come up with a clever plan to blind him and then escape with his men. Killing the Cyclops outright would have made their escape more challenging.

If you mean Circe, his crew stays with her for an entire year. During this year, Elpenor falls drunkenly from her roof and dies. After encountering him in Hades, Odysseus and his crew return to Circe's house but don't stay too long. In the movie, however, Circe says that Odysseus had been in her bed for five years.
Odysseus was upset when his crew ate Hyperion's cattle for several reasons.His crew were under oath not to harm the cattle. Breaking an oath is a major offence in Ancient Greece and often leads to death.By eating the cattle the crew offended the sun-god Hyperion, Odysseus knew this would lead to their deaths and Odysseus would most likely have been worried that because of the crew's transgressions it would make Odysseus' desire to return home (nostos) even more unattainable because the gods would do all in their power to prevent him. (Note Odysseus HAS to return home as it is the will of Zeus for him to return home, but Poseidon wishes to delay him and Hyperion wishes to kill the crew).
