I just replaced mine and now the oil light does not come on during idle. What is you question? If your asking where it is, its buy the oil filter and oil pump.
It is part of the pump in the tank.

The oil pressure light switch is located in the engine compartment on a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe. It is to the right of the oil filter.
On my service DVD i cant seem to find a low pressure switch. i did find a AC refrigerant pressure switch i dont knwo if its the same
As the transmission applies pressure to a section of the trans the oil pressure switch triggers. If you mean a particular switch and what it tells the computer or what it controls I need more background info.

try to turn the interior light switch off near the the headlight switch ( dimmer switch) is most likely in the on position
