Ok last week my girl was at the store and saw some pregnancy test and decided to take 2 of them The first one came out positive and the second one came out to be negative is she pregnant?

Probably, yes. A test may show negative for various reasons; not following directions, or it may be very early in the pregnancy so the hormone isn't high enough to show unless its concentrated-that's why its best to use the test first thing in the morning. To get a false positive, though, its highly unlikely. The only time it might occur would involve fertility drugs.

Faint lines are positive lines. Positive is positive is positive. It sounds like you may have been pregnant but are having/had a miscarriage. With one of my miscarriages, I had a positive home test and then 2 days later I went to get my confirmation of pregnancy at planned parenthood. The gal came back in and told me I wasnt pregnant. When I told her I had a positive test at home, she decided she had better check it again. This time she agreed that I was pregnant, but the line came so faint and so late that she had missed it the first time. The next day I started bleeding, saw my ob and was confirmed to be miscarrying. The only way for you to know for sure is to see a physician, have a pelvic exam and possibly ultrasound and repeat pregnancy test.

The hormones can take a couple of months to settle, it differs from woman to woman.

Hi, I've had the same thing happen to me when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, I had to take three test to figure out what was going on with my cycle, I was like two weeks late when I took the first test & it was negative, So I didn't know what to do,then I waited a wk. later to take another one & it was negative. So after waisting money on two test, I was a little upset& worried,so finally I let anothere week go by & decided to take one last test before calling a doctor and sure enough it came out positive, If You really think that You are pregnant, You should wait a few more days to take another test,then if You still feel funny inside I'd go get it checked out. Yes, you can. This happened to me with my 3rd pregnancy. I actually had the same kind of cramping that I normally get before my period and a slight spotting. PMS symptoms are very close to pregnancy symptoms. I definitely thought I wasn't pregnant. I only had a bit of spotting though and after a week of not get a full period I decided to take a pregnancy test and to my surprise I was pregnant. I ended up having a very healthy pregnancy and baby.

Well I have been having pregnancy symptoms for about two months and all home test were negative so I started looking and decided to give the bleach test a try and it fizzed like crazy so my husband did it and nothing happened I would say yes but I'm not a doctor so I can't confirm since then I still get negatives

Pregnancy tests and urine tests at the doctors will just come back negative just ask your doctor for a ultrasound scan if you really think you are pregnant there isn't any other way to know unless you are far enough into your pregnancy to ear your baby's heart beat but you will still need to ask your gp or midwife as those machines you buy in shops to ear the baby's heart beat are basically crap. Yes you can people that say otherwise don't know what they are on about, actually I fell pregnant had my normal periods every month with all the pains and cramps included so it wasn't just spotting or anything like that, when my belly started to get bigger I took about god knows how many pregnancy tests went to the doctors and it was all negative until when I was nearly 8 months pregnant and they decided it was best for me to go for a scan as they thought it could be some kind of tumor and for my surprise and theirs aswell it was a baby and I had my normal periods and the normal things that come with it each month up until the end of my pregnancy.
