Vista Operating system by default security setting turn off the drive share and file sharing. You need to logon as administrator to turn on the drive and file sharing so others can access.

Q: On Network og 2 pcs Vista with XP I can see Vista shared drives and printers on XP. but on Vista the network reports no access permission what might cause this condition?
