On Pokemon Emerald how can you get a Latias?

To get a Latias on Pokemon Emerald,after beating the Elite Four,you will go back to your home.And then when you watch the TV,select RED if you want a Latias.If you select BLUE,then you will get a Latios.If you chose RED,then a Latias will be Wild in the Hoenn Region.But if you knock her out,you can't encounter her again.She will be on Lv.40.And she can flee. You can get a Latios by getting the Eon Ticket and going to Southern Island from a Nintendo Event.But scince this Nintendo Event has ended a few years ago,and Nintendo won't make it again,then you cannot get Latios if you were planning to get it from a Nintendo Event. The only other way to get Latios in Pokemon Emerald is by using a GameShark.
