No. -Yes you can change the name. I did, you have to go to the 'My Channel' screen and under your channel art there is a white rectangle with 'Home' 'Videos' 'Playlists' ect. Hover over the rectangle and in the top right corner there will be a gray pencil icon. Click on it and then click channel settings. It will take you to another screen that has your icon and name.
