The ABS is notorious on the ventures, have it checked for any codes. The ABS motor pack going out on these vans is extremely common. I have a 1999 Chevy venture with a weak ABS motor, brakes work fine, but ABS isn't fully functional. You can find a new ABS motor at a junkyard for about $100, takes less than an hour to install, or pay around $400 at a GM dealer for a brand new part that needs to be calibrated by the dealer.

the bearing assy comes as a complete package with the hub and ABS sensor, etc. --- 3 bolts connecting it to the knuckle (front) or arm (rear)
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
As you are looking at the engine it is the first plug on your left.
change your o2 sensor
Bank 1 would be the bank of cylinders that contains the number 1 cylinder. The bank 1 sensor 1 would be the first O2 sensor threaded into the exhaust system after that bank of cylinders that contain the number 1 cylinder.

The cylinder head bolt torque for a 1999 Chevy Venture is 44 ft lbs. If you have a GM special service tool # J36660A, use that to turn the bolts an additional 95 degrees.
HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Sensor 1
Most likely NOT.
Need more info, is this the 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine and which sensor on bank 1.
The ABS sensor on ALL year Chevy Venture vans is located in the hub on the Left and right front tires. If the sensor is failing you unfortunately have to replace the entire hub. The barrings and the sensor are all sealed inside the hub. The ABS electrical connector is just behind the hub under the CV axle.

The thermostat on a 2001 Chevrolet Venture 6-cylinder 2-wheel drive car is located where the radiator hose ends. A replacement thermostat for a 2001 Chevy Venture is priced between $8.00 and $11.00 depending on where you buy it.
Your Venture probably came equiped with 3.4L V6 LA1 engine. In which case, the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6.
