Get down on your knees and look underneath the steering wheel, two screws are in place and need to be removed first to continue removing the dashboard. Both screws on my vehicle were removed using a star bit, but if your careful the correct size Allen wrench will suffice. One screw next to the computer connect, the other opposite end. You might also have plastic clips, buttons, or whatever you call them next to those star bit screws so remove anything you see conflicting to your dash coming off.
Like my 99 Grand Prix, yours is held in place by six or more (not exactly sure how many) metal clips. Very carefully pull on your dashboard in any area until one clip is released, then work your way to other clips until you have it completely off.
Next is important, if you have fog lights you will have to disconnect the button from the dash because someone had the fantastic idea of attaching it to the back of the dash.
Hardest part is trying to figure out how to get the dash out and around the steering wheel, I was able to get it out by adjusting the wheel and carefully squeezing the dash.
And FYI, in the event you drop a metal clip, find it and put it on the back of the dashboard.
