Check the dimmer setting for the dash lights. There should be a dial to adjust the brightness on the dash to the left of the steering wheel.

Pontiac VibeI have owned a 2003 Vibe now for almost four years. I have had no problems except for the Continental tires which went bad (cupping) at about 20,000 miles. Otherwise, it has been a very reliable and economical car. I especially like the versatile layout of the hatch and the seats. The position of the steering wheel is a little awkward for some, and the engine can be noisy under acceleration. If you can live with these drawbacks, I think it would be a good choice, especially for runabout type driving. 2004 M&T Base model owner here...I have 482,000+ miles on my Vibe. Original engine, original auto trans...no rebuilds. Its a shame GM killed Pontiac. They need to re-badge the Vibe as a Chevy.

If you do not have an antenna, u need to get something small like tweezers or needle nose pliers and pull the antenna ball ( from the mast) out to connect a universal antenna ( this can be tricky, you might have to stretch the mast opening). If you have an antenna you should only have to unscrew it and reattach a universal. I just completed this task on my 2004 vibe. Dealerships and auto shops were unable to assist me.
