no. DOS is just a program that many older computers with older softwares have. Why would it be illegal....
Older computers and accesorires become cheaper with time because the technology changes. So as new technology becomes available older ones become cheaper.
Not at all. You're free to change the date to whatever you want it to be. Older computers were expected to have a problem when the date rolled over from 31/12/1999 to 01/01/2000 - because older machines only stored the last two digits of the date - meaning that, when the date rolled over to the new millennium, some computers reset the date back to 1980. This was solved by a small downloadable program.

Encyclopedias are typically stored in print format as physical books or bound volumes. In modern times, encyclopedias are also stored digitally on computers, tablets, or smartphones for easy access and searchability.

Older computers might have mercury, but most modern computers are Mercury-Free.
nothing, they are different names for the same thing (computer program is the older term, going back to ENIAC in 1945 and probably some earlier electromechanical computers like the Harvard Mark I).
No, they cannot.
This was a little difficult to track down on their website: their older PICs that stored the program in EEPROM used a "C" in that field of the partnumberthe new PICs that store the program in FLASH use an "F" in that field of the partnumberSo the "F" in PIC12F629 stands for program code stored in FLASH. They probably have other letters they will use for other types of program memory that they might use (e.g. masked programmed ROM) but I couldn't find any others than "C" and "F".
