You cannot Control pets on the Sims Pets Stories, unless you are the owner,
you could teach them the command "Come Here", if your pet learns that trick,
you may call your pet/tell him/her to come here. Other than that, you can not control pets on the game.

The objective is to raise your own pets and breeding them. You can't control the pets on Ps2 but I've heard you can on PC but you can't cancel the actions. If you ask me it's sort of like Sims Pet Stories or any other Sims game except for the pets.
