On suboxone for 3 years at 16mg daily I was doing between 4 to 9 bags of heroin a day for 8 months How much oxycodone would I need to do to get high. I was thinkin 160 do you think that'd be enough?

Yes you can. Taking suboxone first and then using can cause you to have withdrawals. But 12 hours should be enough to take subutex/suboxone

Taking Suboxone with any other opiate is a really bad idea, because Suboxone blocks the opiate receptors in your brain, making it impossible to get high from other opiates. Taking Suboxone with other opiates won't get you higher -- in fact, it will do the opposite. Just 2mgs of Suboxone probably isn't enough to completely kill your high, but the high will certainly be less intense. Forget about the Suboxone, and just do the opium by itself.

Suboxone can be detected it just depends on what choice of panel they use. But to answer your question a standard dipstick test does not test for it. But you have to remember they are not all standard. There are different companies that make drug tests and they all offer different testing panels, so to really answer your question it is a gamble unless you know exactly what is going to be on that panel. Suboxone is a partial opiod agonist, which is classified as non-narcotic for some reason. A dipstick that checks for oxycodone and heroin only will not pick up on suboxone. Suboxone has its own test which may or may not be on the panel you are taking.

how many mg's of suboxone and for how long were you taking it? and how many mg's of oxycodone are you taking? 4mg of suboxone hangs around for about 24 hrs until the bup starts leaving the receptors and then you will be able to experience a mild high, 32 hrs and you are able to get a buzz and by 40-48 hrs you are completely able to get the full effect of your oxycodone. start with a medium dose at 24 hrs to get the bup to loosen up off the receptors and use your intended dose at 32 hrs. once your first 2 doses wear off your third dose should be enough to kick the rest of the bup off the receptors and let you enjoy your oxycodone. just remember because you don't feel high dosent mean you cant overdose so be careful on that first dose especially and don't go chasing a peak high on your second dose either. if you were on 8mgs of sub, then multiply those time frames by 2, 2mg and divide by half, you get it
Can you stay on suboxone forever?
Tragically no. Suboxone saved my life and I have seen it do the same for many others. I have led a great life and will be graduating with my Masters from OSU soon. Before suboxone I was a heroine addicted homeless high school drop out. I have been on suboxone for four years and my doctor is trying to force me out the program because it has been "long enough." I know many people that take suboxone daily and lead wonderful, happy and productive lives that they never could have imagined before suboxone. Only 3% of addicts ever stop using, and if you find one that has a system working for them for the love of God don't take it away from them unless you enjoy destroying other's lives. May whoever reads this realize there is no need for some suboxone patients to ever stop maintenance, by staying on suboxone they are leading clean, healthy lives. A patient should decide whether or not they are ready to stop suboxone or methadone. By staying on maintenance they are harming no one, so why take from these miraculous few that actually escaped the very tool they use to stay clean?
Can you take a Vicodin while on Suboxone for a major migraine?
As long as you're not taking massive amounts of the Suboxone (like, more than two 8-mg pills) yes, the Vicodin will still work as a pain killer, even though you won't get high from it. You will probably have to take a double dose of it, though, or even a triple dose, depending on how much Suboxone you are taking. I am on Suboxone and last autumn I had a root canal, and the oral surgeon prescribed Vicodin for me, but I had to take double doses of it to get enough relief from the pain. I also had to cut my Suboxone dose in half (I was taking 8-mgs per day and cut it down to 4). Whatever you do, don't stop taking the Suboxone completely, because if you completely stop taking it you will have to wait until you're in extreme withdrawal from the Vicodin before you start taking Suboxone again. If you stop taking the Suboxone, and then start taking it again before you're in heavy withdrawal from the Vicodin, you will experience the worst, most horrible withdrawal symptoms you can imagine. You will get really, really sick.
What will make you test positive for oxycodone?
I have taken 30mg of oxycodone once two or three days before my drug screen. Will the test be positive, as my boyfriend has a prescription. I have prescriptions for xanax and ritalin, but not for the oxycodone.
