The man who created Kool-Aid is named Edwin Perkins.
Kool-Aid was named the state soft drink of Nebraska in 1998 along with milk as the state Drink.
Kool-Aid is generally considered to be acidic due to its content of citric acid and other fruit-flavored acids. The pH of Kool-Aid typically ranges from 2.5 to 3.5, which places it on the acidic side of the pH scale. Therefore, it is not non-acidic.
1920'sAround 1972, by a guy named Edwin Perkin, i think
Edward Hastings of Nebraska, USA invented the product named Kool-Aid. Mr. Hastings did so in the year 1927 which was when the brand name was first introduced to the world.
Kool aid's predecessor was a liquid concentrate called Fruit Smack. To reduce shipping costs, in 1927, Perkins discovered a way to remove the liquid from Fruit Smack, leaving only a powder; this powder was named Kool-Aid.
In Nevada, a class A felony is called a Category A felony. Those crimes considered a Category A felony are sexual assault, first and second-degree murder, the distribution of child pornography, and battery with the intent to commit sexual assault. A Category A felony can be punished by the death penalty or life in prison with or without parole.
Edwin Perkins was always fascinated by chemistry and enjoyed inventing things. When his family moved to southwest Nebraska at the turn of the century, young Perkins experimented with home-made concoctions in his mother's kitchen and created the Kool-Aid story. The forerunner to KOOL-AID was Fruit Smack, which was sold via mail order in the 1920s. Edwin Perkins re-named the drink Kool-Ade and then Kool-Aid in 1927.
