No, they are two different notes.
oboe sounds like the oboe, the clarinet sounds somewhat like it, but its not the same.
A standard oboe can play a 13-note range - from a low B to a high G.
It is in C. That is not to say that that is the easiest key to play in - that is probably G or D!
a, b, c#, d, e, f#, g#, a
the oboe is 30 inches i think
The range of an oboe is from a B flat below middle C to a high G. So just over 2 and a half octaves
The oboe is a high medium pitch, I believe. It ranges from a B flat below the staff to a G an octave higher than the G on the top space of the staff. If you are a musician, you know that it is a ledger line G above the staff.
The natural minor scale parallel to G major is E natural minor. This means it has the same key signature (one sharp, F#) as G major, but starts and ends on the note E.
The notes in a g major scale: G A B C D E F# G
This is an oboe. The wonders of google.
The Oboe is in the woodwind family.
There is the heckelphone, the bass oboe, the cor anglais, the oboe d'amore, the regular oboe, and the piccolo oboe. Maybe there are others.
