Pedantically, there is only one crown dependencies in the British Isles. There are actually three Crown Dependencies: the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. Jersey and Guernsey are collectively called the 'Channel Isles'. They are usually NOT considered part of the British Isles, because they are off the coast of France.
