The present demarcated border between India and china is the product of Manchu's policy. According to this 5 Indian states, namely Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, touch the Indian boundary with China. Due to this India shares a 3917 km long border with China which is over one-fourth of the total land border of the country. This is the second longest border of India next only to its border with Bangladesh.
Pakistan doesn't share border with USSR. Pakistani only shares border with Iran, India, Afghanistan and China. USSR is a neighboring country but doesn't touch the boundaries of Pakistan.

the greater Himalayas by the most liberal definition form at least part of the borders of china burma India bhutan Nepal & Pakistan & tho it is debatable perhaps Afghanistan tajikistan kyrgyzstan & even kazakhstan but to say that mountains border countries is slightly inaccurate usually it is only the ridge lines of the mountain ranges that are employed to form borders between countries
Technically-No. But you could say it is a country that is very close- only the South China Sea is the "separator" of these to countries. Taiwan is just a VERY nearby country. It doesn't "touch" China. Just a close by country.
