John F. Kennedy, the first Roman Catholic to be elected president, was the first to take the oath of office using a Douay version of The Bible. After Kennedy's assassination on Nov. 22, 1963, Lyndon B. Johnson took the oath of office using a Catholic missal on Air Force One.
Lyndon B. Johnson was the only president sworn into office on an airplane.
He and Vice President Garner were the last President and Vice President to sworn in on March 4 (1933) and the first to be sworn in on January 20 (1937). Franklin D. Roosevelt was also the only U.S. President to be inaugurated four times.

Lyndon B Johnson Two hours and eight minutes after President Kennedy was assassinated in a motorcade at Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas, Johnson was sworn in as President on Air Force One in Dallas at Love Field Airport on November 22, 1963. He was sworn in by Federal Judge Sarah T. Hughes, a family friend, making him the first President sworn in by a woman. He is also the only President to have been sworn in on Texas soil. Johnson did not swear on a Bible, as there were none on Air Force One; a Roman Catholic missal was found in Kennedy's desk and was used for the swearing-in ceremony

Roman Catholic AnswerThere is only a Bible, the Bible used by the Catholic Church is the entire New Testament and the entire Old Testament. The only thing that makes it a "Catholic" Bible is the guarantee in the front of it that it conforms to the Bible as accepted by the Church since the fourth century. And, no, nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about sprinkling for baptism.
