Depends on what engine is in this car. Use the 5W-40W grade fully synthetic engine oil. For gasoline engine check that the oil is A3 spec. For diesel engine, it should be B3 spec.
You will need to use the manual to learn how to do this. It can give you all of the step that are needed.
hi , if you do not know how to change the oil filter on your zafira you would be best to employ the use of a garage or a mobile mechanic, should take no more than 30 mins if you have warmed up the car beforehand so as the oil flows freely, and it will be cheaper if you supply the parts which are easily purchased from any good motor factors.
The Zafira is fitted with an eco (paper element filter) located at the front of the engine. you are looking for a black dome with approx 30mm hexagon on it when you replace the eco filter tighten only to the recommended torque shown on the filter housing Semi synthetic oil should be fine.
There is a plug on the side of the transmission, remove battery tray to access and fill until gear oil begins to come back out. Mechanics that specialize in Opel/Vauxhall say never re-use fill plug, use a new only. Torque to 22 ft/lbs
lift the ecotec plastic cover off and you will see 4 in a row simple....and the spark plug i use with great results is an NGK 7956 BKR5EK,,,,THIS IS FOR A VAUXHALL ZAFIRA 199 TO 2005....AFTER THAT THEY HAD A FACELIFT......HOPE THAT HELPS.....PS...APPLY SOME LIGHT LITHIUM GREASE TO THE SPARK PLUG THREADS TO HELP THEM GO ON AND TO GET THEM OUT IN 2 YEARS TIME...AND REMEMBER ONLY USE YOUR HANDS TO INSERT THE SPARK PLUGS....ONCE SECURE ENOUGH THEN USE THE BAR AS NORMAL TO THE CORRECT TOURGE....TIME TAKEN TO DO THIS JOB..........25 MINS..HAVE FUN
