The electrons in the oxygen and hydrogen have a high amount of energy which is released when the oxygen and hydrogen combine to form water. The electrons are in a more stable set of bonds. The water then has no chance of bonding to decrease energy, so the water absorbs heat by cooling and boiling, so that the fire goes out.

Why is hydrogen an important element?

because when you use hydrogen, it kinda helps you breathe and it also is a gas. and oxygen and hydrogen make water to stay hydrated.

What are the useful effects of chemical changes?

Chemical changes are very important!! See an example: when Oxygen combines with Hydrogen, it forms water. Oxygen helps combustion and hydrogen is combustible i.e. both help fire but water helps keep away that fire....
