and the question is ?????????????
No, just use same ammunition
The value depends on overall condition. If you have a P38, then you don't have a luger. They both fire the 9mm luger cartridge though.
luger production ceased about 1942. the P38 took over as the German military pistol during WW2..................any luger made after WW2 were after market pistols.
although a P38 fires the same ammo as a Luger (9mm) it is not a Luger. It is a double action pistol that replaced the luger before wars end.......value of P38 can be checked by going to 'gunsamerica.com' and scroll or seek P38...................
9mm luger.
value is based on condition. the P38 is not considered a luger. it merely fires the same 9mm shell. go to: GUNSAMERICA.COM look up the P38 and check prices
Of course! It's 9x19mm or 9mm Parabellum. The German Luger also used the 9x19mm.
It looks like a German Luger. No, its a Walther LP 53 Air Pistol. It looks a bit like a cross between a Luger and a P38 both of which were German Pistols. It is, however, a completely different firearm and was never issued by the German Military.
the Germans found the P38 was cheaper to make and did not jam as readily as the luger..............................only difference is the gun design.
prices vary on all lugers. with a luger, 2 matching mags and holster it is called a 'rig'. prices can go up to $2,000 more or less. Go to: GUNSAMERICA.COM and look up lugers listed for prices
