Parents will not let you cross the street to go to the bus stop alone and you are 12 and while it is embarrassing every morning to have your dad cross you over sometimes mom how do you convince them?

Have you tried to talk to them? If you have and they are not letting you go alone then maybe there is a trust issue. If you are trusting then I think that they might just be overly protective of you. Feel lucky that you have parents. There are a lot of kids that don't have any. They just want to make sure you are safe. Let them have this.

Well, I think the best way to convince your parents to get a dog is to act responsible. Make your bed every morning, do your chores(if you have any) if you don't have any chores, help your parents do their chores. Another thing to do is show them you will care for it. Maybe care for a stuffed animal. (If you are a teen don't do this cause they'll think you're out of your mind and something is wrong with you.). But other than that just hang out with them a lot, and be respectful and responsible. Peace Poggers!!!

First of all, you need to promise them that you wont have sex (which you will) and if they don't believe you, tell them that you'll use protection. if these do not work, you can either use a lamp to the head or some rufilin and go out without them knowing. in the morning everything will be just fine.
