Well, I think the best way to convince your parents to get a dog is to act responsible. Make your bed every morning, do your chores(if you have any) if you don't have any chores, help your parents do their chores. Another thing to do is show them you will care for it. Maybe care for a stuffed animal. (If you are a teen don't do this cause they'll think you're out of your mind and something is wrong with you.). But other than that just hang out with them a lot, and be respectful and responsible.
