You need to contact a gunsmith
During the World War II years, when Remington took over production for Browning because the Belgium plant had been over run by the Nazi Germany armed forces.
your shotgun was made in 1947,it is a Remington produced browning,I have one in my collection of a-5s,they are wonderful guns, the only problem is that many parts from standard 16ga a-5s are interchangable a few are not and Remington quit making the parts in 1947,so if you need work done you may have to seek out a source that has a supply of new and used parts.Hope this message has been a help. Only if sommeone had it chambered for that caliber. Before 922r parts count laws prohibited further importation of them, there were variants of the SVD rifle imported which were chambered to fire the 7.62x51 and .308 Winchester cartridges. These were absent some of the features of the military Dragunovs, such as the flash suppressor, and were sold as the "Tigr 308". Military versions in 7.62x51 NATO were manufactured and exported, but were not sold on the US civil market, as they were not considered "sporting weapons" under the provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

The recycling companies will check the condition of the cartridges, and if they have to, replace new parts. They get reassembled and refilled with ink, and become new cartridges.
