Active Transpot. -Pumps
-Endocytosis
-Exocytosis
Passive Transport - Diffusion
-osmosis
-Facilitated Diffusion
active requires energy passive doesnt. active against concentration gradient, passive along concentration gradient.
Active transport is the movement of particles against the concentration gradient, using ATP for energy. If you want to know what methods of transport are active and which ones are passive, here they are! :-
PASSIVE- diffusion, facilitated diffusion and also osmosis. I think bulk transport is also passive, but don't take my word for it!
ACTIVE- i think only active transport requires energy, but i may be wrong! Hope this helps!
passive transport does not require energy (i.e. no ATP molecules involved)
eg diffusion, osmosis
active transport requites expenditure of energy (i.e. ATP molecules involved)
eg sodium-potassium pump
Passive transport and active transport are transport of materials across membranes. Passive requires no energy, while active does.
Passive Transport, i think.
Active transport requires ATP and passive transport does not. Active transport goes against the concentration gradient and passive transport goes with the concentration gradient and includes osmosis, diffusion and facilitated diffusion.
The two types of cell trnsport it Passive Transport and Active Transport. Active Transport does require energy to move into and out of the cell. Passive Transport doesn't require energy to move into and out of the cell. Hope I helped!
Passive (diffusion).
Passive transport and active transport are transport of materials across membranes. Passive requires no energy, while active does.
Active transport requires energy; passive transport does not.
Active transport requires energy; passive transport does not.
Active transport requires energy while passive transport does not.
passive
passive
it is an ACTIVE transport.
Active transport requires energy, passive transport does not.
It has is in the name. Active Transport
Passive Transport, i think.
