∙ 12y agoTechnically there is no such thing as a vegetable--all vegetables can be categorized as one of the following: fruit, nut/seed, root, or plant (either leaves, stems or flowers). A pea is a legume, along with lentils and peanuts, and it is also typically categorized as a seed, since it will grow into a plant if you plant it. Does that help?
