Shaking their belief: The more assertive and confident you are while talking about your idea, the higher the possibility of shaking the other person's belief about that thing. Speak in a confident way, use confident body language and gestures and use a confident voice tone.
Undermine their knowledge base:
If you manage to convince them that you know more than they do, you will become a trusted source for their subconscious mind and it will become much easier to "program them" into convince them. Also, be prepared with proper documentation and evidence (if needed.)
Provide proof for the skeptic:
The more clues you can provide to strengthen your argument, the less skeptical the other person will be and so the easier they will be convinced.
Believing in your idea:
The more you believe in your idea the more confident and, most importantly, convincing you will be when talking about it.
To persuade someone to see things your way, it's important to listen to their perspective first to understand where they're coming from. Then, carefully present your argument using logical reasoning and evidence to support your stance. Remain calm and respectful throughout the discussion, and be open to addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
In speech classes, one is often asked to give a persuasive speech. It is helpful to choose a subject you are passionate about, but you must use facts to support your arguments.

The simple answer is no....Rigorous studies have shown that it is virtual impossible to trick, or lie to get someone to do something totally against their will.Basically if you convince someone to do something, then at least a section inside that person wants to do that thing. Therefor it is not anything like hypnosis, or brainwashing.Hope it helped, :)JHS

The most important thing George Washington had to do at Yorktown was successfully coordinate a joint assault with French forces to trap British General Cornwallis. This resulted in the decisive American victory at the Battle of Yorktown, which ultimately led to the surrender of Cornwallis and effectively ended the American Revolutionary War.
Give him some reason to want to let you do it.
I think that a good customer service is more than someone who can convince anyone to by anything. I think that they have to have a knowledge in the area that they are selling, be very positive and knows how to read their customers. If you can build great rapport with your customer and show them that you are not just trying to sell any thing to make commission. If you can show them that this product will actually benefit them altogether, then you are a good sales person.
