It is like some kind of tissue coming out, you need to put some rubbing alcohol on it.

yes it is bad, its not recommended by anyone to get a belly button piercing at a young age like 13. my sister is a doctor and says it is possible to get a disease by getting it pierced. if you want a piercing on your navel i think a good age would be 16 and over. -hope this helped
As a professional body piercer I can tell you right now that no professional body piercer will consider piercing anyone at the age of eleven. It's a developmental thing as well as a responsibility issue, Wait till you are 16 then get your piercing done.
When going to get a piercing/ tattoo you are asked to sign a contract. In Missouri anyone under the age of 18 can not sign a contract therefore you cant get a piercing/' tattoo unless your parent/guardian is there to sign and can prove they are your parent/guardian.
Contrary to the claims made on the Internet websites about numbing creams most professional body piercers will not use nor piercing anyone who has used a numbing agent on any location of the body to be pierced. Numbing agents swell and bloat the tissue making the marking and piercing process difficult. The bloating generally screws up the layout for the piercing and a poor finished result is the out come. If you really want the piercing a momentary pinch is not a big issue, it's a simple clean easy process in the hands of an experienced professional body piercer.
If you are pregnant and had your navel pierced before you got pregnant then yes you can keep your piercing until it starts to become uncomfortable, you can then have the jewellery changed to PTFE or Bioplast barbell for the rest of your term. If you are thinking about getting your navel pierced then I would suggest you wait till you have had the baby and have settled down into a bit more normal routine. No professional body piercing studios will knowingly pierce anyone who is pregnant. It's to prevent loading the immune system down too far, it's also to protect the baby and you from the potential of a secondary infection entering your system via the new piercing.
All piercing services require a health inspection and business license anyone conducting piercing services at a swap meet is doing so without a business license and without a health inspection and you are putting your self at risk of serious illness and injury by having them pierce you. Call the police.
There is no length requirement for getting your tongue pierced. Anyone can get their tongue pierced with the exception of people that have their own personal and/or medical reasons.
There is no record of anyone ever dying from a tongue piercing done in a licensed shop. 1020 people died in 2008 just by having there tongue pierced :/ BEWARE
No sorry body piercing do not make one gay, many metro sexual men have navel piercing this does not make them gay. Actually to think anyone has a specific sexual orientation due to the body jewellery or piercings they wear would be considered rude in most civilized cultures.
no its for anyone who wants it =]
what do you mean by straight side? Now days there are no straight sides or gay sides. Look at ear piercings. A guy use to only get his left ear pierced, and if he wore one in both ears he was seen as being "gay". But now it is very common.. A piercing is a personal preference.. As long as you're happy and you like where your piercing is, screw what anyone else may say & think.. I hope this helps you :-) :-)
